06/27/2025, 13:20On June 27, the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after Boris Yeltsin hosted the founding meeting of the Governing Council - a new strategic body that will determine the directions of the university's development until 2040. The event was attended by representatives of the governments of Kyrgyzstan and Russia, parliamentarians, diplomats, as well as experts in the field of education.
One of the key items on the agenda was the presentation of the project for the construction of a new KRSU campus. According to the plans presented, the campus will be located on a 30-hectare plot of land near the Ala-Archa state residence. It will become a modern educational cluster with educational buildings, research centers, dormitories and infrastructure for students and teachers.
Recall, on the eve of the meeting, the updated composition of the Board of Trustees of KRSU was formed. It was headed by the head of the SCNS Kamchybek Tashiev. Artem Novikov, Chairman of the Board of the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund, became its deputy.
