The newly established Bereket Bank has already joined the deposit protection system

Since December 30, Bereket Bank CJSC has been officially included in the register of participants in the bank deposit protection system. The Deposit Protection Agency announced this on its Facebook page.

It is specified that inclusion in the system means that the bank's customer deposits are now covered by the state guarantee mechanism. In the event of a guarantee case, depositors will be paid compensation of up to 1 million KGS, including accrued interest on deposits.

The deposit protection system applies not only to banks, but also to microfinance companies and housing and savings credit companies licensed by the National Bank to attract deposits. Its task is to protect depositors' funds and maintain the stability of the financial system.

We would like to add that Bereket Bank officially became the 22nd bank in Kyrgyzstan after receiving a license from the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic on December 3. One of its founders is the president's younger son, Nurgozhoev Nurdooool Sadyrovich.
