07/25/2025, 09:51The head of the Information Policy Service of the Presidential Administration, Dayirbek Orunbekov, warned entrepreneurs about cases of illegal extortion by individuals.
According to him, there are signs that under the pretext of “providing assistance” or “sponsorship,” moral pressure is being exerted on owners of markets, restaurants, and other large businesses, and financial demands are being made that may be linked to organized criminal groups.
“You know that those who financed such groups in the past are already liable under the law. We warn you to be careful not to find yourselves facing criminal liability,” said Dayirbek Orunbekov.
He called on businessmen to immediately contact law enforcement agencies in case of pressure or unreasonable demands.
“These are not the times they used to be. You will receive 100% support, and racketeers will be immediately detained,” assured the representative of the presidential administration.
