President Sadyr Zhaparov opens brick and enriched coal production plants in Osh oblast
On 20 March, during his working trip to Osh Oblast, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov opened brick and enriched coal production plants in Tash-Aryk village of Kara-Suu district.

The head of state noted that 100 large industrial enterprises across the country were launched last year in honour of the 100th anniversary of the formation of the Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous Oblast.

‘Our goal is to create jobs and contribute to the development of the economy every year,’ the President emphasised.

The factories, realised with investments of more than $9 million, will provide 250 jobs. It is planned to produce 50 million bricks and 600 thousand tonnes of coal products per year.
Sadyr Zhaparov noted the importance of attracting investments and creating favourable conditions for new business projects. He emphasised that the development of industry in the regions is a strategic priority.

The opening ceremony was followed by a ribbon cutting and familiarisation with the production process. At the end, the President spoke with local residents, who expressed gratitude for the attention to the region.
