The rouble has reached its highest level in the last three years

The National Bank has published the official exchange rates for 16 April 2026. The US dollar remained unchanged at 87.4500 som.

The euro rose slightly by 0.055% to 103.0992 som. The Russian rouble strengthened by 0.83% to reach 1.1621 som. This marks the fourth consecutive day of growth for the rouble.

The Kazakhstani tenge also rose by 0.60% to 0.1844 som. Meanwhile, the Chinese yuan fell slightly by 0.018% to 12.8267 som.

It should be noted that since 25 February 2023, the rouble had been trading at 1.1679 som, before falling immediately to 1.1619 and remaining below that level ever since. Today, for the first time during this period, it surpassed these levels, reaching 1.1621 som.
