09/04/2026, 16:20The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan has set the official exchange rates for foreign currencies as at 5 September. Compared with the previous day, the rouble and the yuan strengthened against the KGS, the tenge weakened, whilst the dollar remained virtually unchanged.
The official US dollar exchange rate rose from 87.4488 to 87.4491 KGS. The change amounted to just 0.0003 KGS.
The euro rose from 101.5324 to 101.6552 KGS, or by 0.12 per cent. Meanwhile, the rouble strengthened more significantly — from 1.0023 to 1.0088 KGS, gaining around 0.65 per cent.
The yuan’s exchange rate rose from 13.0170 to 13.0308 KGS, or by approximately 0.11 per cent.
The only currency among those listed to depreciate against the KGS was the tenge. Its official exchange rate fell from 0.1919 to 0.1911 KGS, or by 0.42 per cent.
