The rouble has been losing ground for the fifth day in a row. National Bank of Kyrgyzstan exchange rates as of 6 June

The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan has published the official exchange rates for 6 June. The US dollar remained unchanged, whilst the euro and the yuan rose. The Russian rouble continued its decline, which has now lasted for five consecutive days.

The US dollar exchange rate remained unchanged at 87.4500 som.

The euro strengthened by 0.19% to 101.7568 som, whilst the Chinese yuan rose by 0.09% to 12.9159 som.

Meanwhile, the Russian rouble fell by a further 0.12% to 1.1867 som. The Kazakhstani tenge also fell by 0.44% to 0.1793 som.

It should be noted that the Russian rouble has been falling for the fifth day in a row. During this period, its official exchange rate has fallen from 1.2319 som to 1.1867 som, losing around 3.7% of its value against the som.
