07/16/2026, 15:32Between January and June 2026, consumer prices and tariffs for goods and services in Kyrgyzstan rose by an average of 5.5 per cent compared with December 2025. This was reported by the National Statistical Committee.
According to the committee, since the start of the year, prices for food and non-alcoholic drinks have risen by 5.4 per cent; alcoholic drinks and tobacco products by 7.2 per cent;
non-food goods by 3.3 per cent; and services by 8.3 per cent.
Price rises were recorded in all regions of the country. The highest inflation was recorded in the Osh region, where the overall price level rose by 12.5 per cent.
In this region, prices for alcoholic drinks and tobacco products rose by 17.3 per cent, non-food goods by 9.8 per cent, and the cost of services by 21.8 per cent.
The most significant rise in prices for food and non-alcoholic drinks was recorded in the Issyk-Kul region, at 8.9 per cent.
