Sadyr Zhaparov visited the National Aerospace Science and Technology Park in Pakistan

During his state visit to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov visited a military exhibition at the National Aerospace Science and Technology Park (NASTP) in Islamabad.

NASTP is a modern platform that brings together government agencies, scientific institutions and industry to promote research, design and innovation in the fields of aviation, space, IT and cybersecurity.

During his visit, Sadyr Zhaparov viewed the NASTP Alpha exhibition, which showcases aviation technology, radar and communication systems, simulators, developments in software, artificial intelligence, cyber technologies and space industry products.
The President was also given a detailed introduction to the JF-17 Thunder multi-role fighter jet, a joint Chinese-Pakistani development.

The head of state was presented with the aircraft's main combat capabilities and technical characteristics, including its manoeuvrability, guidance systems and weapons. Sadyr Zhaparov visited the cockpit, where specialists told him about the fighter's onboard equipment and technical and operational features.

In addition, the President was shown the PAC MFI-17 Mushshak light training aircraft, as well as a helicopter training simulator that allows pilots to practise their skills in various weather conditions and situations, which plays an important role in the training of aviation specialists.

President Sadyr Zhaparov noted the high level of the developments presented and expressed his readiness to further expand cooperation in the field of innovation and high technology.
