According to the Ministry of Agriculture, the harvesting campaign in the republic is coming to an end. In 2025, crop yields as a whole show positive dynamics, with a number of crops showing growth compared to last year.

Of the total area sown with grain crops — 679 thousand hectares — 631.7 thousand hectares have already been harvested, which is 93%.

The harvest of vegetable crops is 96.2% complete. The highest yields were recorded in the Chui and Osh regions.

The average potato yield, for example, was 176.5 centners per hectare, which is higher than in 2024 (172.5 centners per hectare). In the Issyk-Kul region, harvesting has been completed on 95.9% of the area.

The harvest of melons and gourds was planned for 11.8 thousand hectares, but in fact 12.2 thousand hectares were harvested. The gross harvest amounted to 274 thousand tonnes, which is 41.5 thousand tonnes more than last year. The main producer of melons and gourds is the Jalal-Abad region.

The harvesting of industrial crops also continues on a total area of 32.3 thousand hectares.
Oilseeds have been harvested by 90.3%, tobacco by 96.2% (gross yield of 1 thousand tonnes), and cotton by 98% (gross yield of 10 thousand tonnes). Sugar beet harvesting has been completed on 53% of all planned areas, with a gross harvest of 300,800 tonnes.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, stable weather conditions, timely agrotechnical measures and the hard work of farmers have made it possible to achieve high yields this year.
