The Tashiev family sold their oil depot and built a maternity hospital in Suzak.

On May 13, a new maternity ward and children's hospital were officially opened in the Suzak district of the Jalal-Abad region. President Sadyr Zhaparov attended the ceremony and emphasized that the health of citizens remains a priority for the government.

The head of state noted the contribution of the Tashiev family, who financed the construction of one of the buildings by selling their oil depot and donating the maternity hospital to the state.

The new facilities are designed to accommodate 75 beds each. Their construction cost 570 million soms. The land for the medical facilities was allocated by the local authorities.

“If we want our nation to grow, we need to create conditions for the birth of healthy children,” said Sadyr Zhaparov. According to him, this is not a one-off initiative — medical infrastructure is being actively renovated and expanded throughout the Jalal-Abad region.

The president also said that local doctors have already begun performing complex organ transplant operations in the country.

Zaparov expressed his gratitude to concerned citizens and hoped that the new facilities would serve the people for many years to come.
