The KGS has strengthened against most major currencies. National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic exchange rates as at 17 June

The National Bank has published the official exchange rates for 18 June 2026. The US dollar exchange rate remained unchanged at 87.4500 KGS.

The euro fell by 0.04% to 101.4551 KGS. The Russian rouble also fell by 0.55% to 1.2013 KGS.

The Chinese yuan fell by 0.008% to 12.9419 KGS. The Kazakhstani tenge lost 0.50%, falling to 0.1786 KGS.

Thus, at the end of the day, the dollar held its ground, whilst the other major currencies fell against the KGS.
