08/21/2025, 09:37Employees of the Manas Customs Department for Combating Smuggling and Customs Violations, while monitoring declarations, identified cases of inaccurate declarations of HUMMER EV GMC motor vehicles manufactured in 2022.
According to the declaration in the name of citizen O.T.B., the vehicle was assigned the EAEU HS code classifying it as a passenger car exempt from value added tax. However, during the analysis, it was established that the vehicle belongs to the category of electric pickup trucks and is subject to taxation. The amount of additional customs payments amounted to 3 million 324 thousand 859 soms.
A similar violation was identified in the declaration in the name of citizen B.K.B. The vehicle originally declared was also classified as a passenger car exempt from VAT. The inspection found that the vehicle belongs to the category of pickup trucks and is subject to taxation.
The amount of additional customs payments amounted to 4 million 377 thousand 428 soms. The facts were registered in the AIS ZUI ERP, and the materials were transferred to the Investigation Department of the State Customs Service. As of today, the customs payments due have been paid in full.
