Tashiev: finance, energy, and natural resources will be subject to enhanced anti-corruption controls

In 2026, anti-corruption efforts will be significantly strengthened in all government agencies in Kyrgyzstan, including the financial, energy, and mining sectors. This was announced on December 23 at the opening of the GKNB Kyzyl-Beles recreation center by the chairman of the State Committee, Colonel General Kamchybek Tashiev.

According to him, anti-corruption measures will also be intensified in public service centers and other key areas of state administration. The goal is to increase the transparency of decisions and tighten responsibility for corruption violations.

At the same time, starting January 1, 2026, it is planned to stop unjustified inspections of conscientious businesses by the SCNS and law enforcement agencies. This is being done to protect the legal rights of entrepreneurs and ensure economic freedom while maintaining strict measures against illegal activities.

The head of the SCNS stressed that the unjustified prosecution of citizens on the grounds of participation in organized crime groups is unacceptable and called on employees to strictly observe the law, objectivity, and professional ethics.
