The tenge rose against the som by more than 2 per cent. National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic exchange rates as at 15 July

The National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic has published the official exchange rates for foreign currencies as at 15 July 2026.

The US dollar exchange rate fell slightly — by 0.0002% — to 87.4498 som.

The euro also fell by 0.32% to 99.6884 som. Meanwhile, the Russian rouble strengthened by 0.28%, reaching 1.1395 som.

The Chinese yuan rose by 0.04 per cent to 12.9015 som, whilst the Kazakhstani tenge recorded the largest increase among the major currencies, rising by 2.02 per cent to 0.1868 som.
