10/28/2025, 17:22On October 23, 2025, the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan approved a list of settlements located in high-altitude areas of the country.
The Ministry of Labor, Social Security, and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic reported that Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 692 was approved on October 23, 2025.
According to the document, the list of villages and towns officially classified as high-altitude areas of Kyrgyzstan has been updated.
The list includes dozens of settlements in the Naryn and Osh regions, where climatic and transport conditions are considered the most difficult.
In the Naryn region, all districts have been granted high-altitude status: Ak-Talinsky, At-Bashinsky, Dzhumgalsky, Kochkor and Naryn, as well as the city of Naryn and nearby villages — Ak-Chii, Kum-Dobo, Mantysh and others.
