05/29/2025, 09:50The construction of a center where local rice will be processed, packaged and exported will begin in Uzgen district. The project is being implemented by the company Zhany-Door Ltd. in the village of Progress. This will be the region's first municipal logistics center dedicated to rice.
To launch exports, the company has already received almost 7 million soms from the CASA-1000 project - this money was used to purchase modern equipment. In addition, the government has allocated 100 million soms at a low interest rate (1.5% per annum) to support local farmers. These funds are used to purchase tractors, combines, excavators, drone sprayers, trucks and other equipment.
During his visit to the region, Minister Bakyt Torobayev inspected the existing enterprise and gave instructions to ensure that the project does not stall and that investors are provided with the necessary conditions.
