Five modern greenhouses are planned to be built in 2026

The final meeting of the Bishkek City Council on “The results of the socio-economic development of Bishkek in 2025 and tasks for 2026” was held in the capital, chaired by Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliyev.

The mayor said that in 2026, new seedlings will be planted in place of old trees damaged by pests and irrigation system malfunctions, and modern irrigation networks will be laid for their full growth. Walking areas will be organized along the Big Chui Canal and the Ala-Archa River.

There are plans to create a nursery on an additional 48 hectares, build five modern greenhouses with a total area of 9,600 square meters, and purchase 50,000 seedlings. To maintain the green fund, 21 kilometers of irrigation pipelines will be laid and more than 5 kilometers of irrigation networks will be installed.

Work will also continue on cleaning up the Alamudun and Ala-Archa riverbeds, removing debris and preparing recreation areas for residents and investors wishing to implement environmental and recreational projects.
