Corn is being planted in the Ak-Talinsky district to solve the problem of obtaining a feed base

In the Ak-Talin district, sowing has been carried out for two years to produce high-quality corn feed in order to solve the feed problem.

While 4.5 hectares of corn were sown in the district last year, this year the sowing area has increased to 7.5 hectares, and farmers are harvesting a bountiful crop.

In addition, a field seminar was held on 4.5 hectares of corn at the Zherge-Tal agricultural cooperative in the Ak-Talin district. The seminar was attended by heads of aiyl okmotu, farmers, and leaders of cooperatives and municipal enterprises.

During the field day, participants were provided with information on corn sowing technology, seed varieties, cultivation methods, mowing and silage harvesting. Practical demonstrations and experience sharing were also organised.

Agricultural experts gave recommendations on the preservation and rational use of high-quality feed, the preparation of sufficient and nutritious feed for livestock, and the expansion of corn planting areas next year.
