09/26/2025, 09:13A meeting of the headquarters for the development of road and transport infrastructure was held at the Bishkek City Hall, chaired by Mayor Aibek Junushaliyev. The main focus was on preparations for repair work and creating conditions for its timely completion.
Following the meeting, the territorial and subordinate departments of the city hall, as well as municipal enterprises, were instructed to complete the dismantling of objects that hinder road works no later than 1 March 2026. The mayor's office notes that this will allow street and pavement repairs to begin without delay.
In addition, the Department of Transport and Road Infrastructure Development will prepare a list of facilities scheduled for repair in 2026 by 1 November 2025.
Measures to regulate traffic flows were discussed separately at the meeting. The Patrol Service Administration has been instructed to strengthen traffic control during rush hours — from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
