12/31/2025, 09:30On the eve of the New Year, the Bishkek mayor’s office, in coordination with CJSC Akun, provided humanitarian assistance to socially vulnerable populations. With support from city authorities and subordinate administrative districts, the aid was distributed across four districts of the capital.
Food packages were delivered to the social development district offices, where each of the four districts received 75 families’ worth of supplies, totaling support for 300 families. Assistance was extended to recipients of the state benefit program "Uj-үlgӧkö kӧmӧk," families facing difficult living circumstances, individuals with disabilities, and low-income citizens.
Each family was issued a food set consisting of: 5 kg of flour, 10 kg of pasta, noodles (kitlap), and 50 grams of cottonseed oil. The provision of this New Year support has been an essential form of aid, especially for families requiring social assistance during the holiday season.
