06/19/2025, 09:00The municipal enterprise Bishkekzelenbud is introducing a new technology for caring for green spaces — special watering bags with slow water release, which ensure effective and economical watering of trees in urban environments.
About 2,000 bags have been purchased as part of a pilot project. They have already been installed and are actively used in areas where watering is difficult or there is no centralised irrigation.
Each bag holds up to 50 litres of water, which is released evenly throughout the day, providing the necessary moisture to the root zone.
Advantages of the technology: daily drip irrigation without human intervention; water and resource savings; increased seedling survival rate; ease of use in remote and difficult areas.
MP «Bishkekzelenstroy» continues to work on the implementation of modern solutions in the field of urban greening, striving to create a more comfortable and environmentally friendly environment for all residents of the capital.
