The first gas boilers are being manufactured in Bishkek

Deputy Mayor of Bishkek Taalaibek Baigaziev visited the municipal enterprise Bishkekteploenergo and familiarised himself with the process of manufacturing the first gas boilers.

Currently, the construction of two 5 MW boilers has been completed, and there are plans to manufacture nine more boilers.

«Previously, the municipal enterprise Bishkekteploenergo manufactured coal-fired boilers, but in 2025, it began manufacturing gas boilers for the first time. This is a significant achievement for the Bishkek City Council. Previously, we purchased such boilers abroad, but now we manufacture them ourselves with high quality. The boilers will be installed in boiler rooms and put into operation in the upcoming 2025-2026 heating season. We are ready to produce a sufficient number of gas boilers to improve the environmental situation in our city. Such boilers are much more economical», — said Taalaibek Baigaziev.

As part of measures to improve the environmental situation in the capital and reduce air pollution, the municipal enterprise Bishkekteploenergo will complete the manufacture of 11 gas boilers with a capacity of 1 MW, 3 MW and 5 MW.

Incidentally, these gas boilers will be put into operation during the autumn-winter heating season of 2025-2026.
