11/26/2025, 16:32The mayor of the capital, Aibek Junushaliyev, today conducted an on-site inspection of several social and infrastructure facilities, including kindergartens under construction, road works and coal depots.
The first facility was a kindergarten in the Ak-Orgo residential area. A two-storey building with an area of 877 square metres is being constructed on a 0.39-hectare site, designed according to a new methodology for 280 places. The kindergarten will have playrooms and bedrooms, a buffet, a food preparation area, a medical office, a laundry room, teaching rooms, a music and sports hall, a speech therapist's office and all the necessary technical facilities.
The grounds are equipped with playgrounds and a separate fuel room, and landscaping has been completed. Construction is 90% complete, and the facility is being prepared for opening.
The next facility is a kindergarten in the Arch-Besik residential area. Here, on a plot of 0.27 hectares, a two-storey T-shaped building with an area of 570 square metres is being built, designed for 180 places. Inside, there are playrooms and bedrooms, a buffet, a food block, a medical office, an isolation ward, a laundry block, offices for the head and methodologist, a music room and utility rooms. The mayor instructed the contractor to speed up the pace of work and ensure high-quality construction.
The head of the capital then inspected the progress of road construction on Cholpon Street, from Dolon Bi Street to Tagay Bi Street. The new road section is 670 metres long, with a carriageway width of 7 metres and 2-metre-wide pavements on both sides. Kerbs and drainage channels have already been installed, and preparations are underway for the asphalt concrete pavement. The mayor instructed that the work be completed quickly and that quality be strictly monitored.
Concluding his working tour, the mayor visited the city's coal depots. He instructed the municipal inspectorate to conduct raids and check the sanitary condition of the territories, install high-pressure washers to clean the wheels of trucks before they enter the city, and, together with the antimonopoly service, strengthen control over the prices of solid fuel.
