In Bishkek, 3 thousand 695 insulators on high-voltage power lines will be replaced

As part of the preparation of power grids for the successful passage of the heating winter period of 2025-2026, the service of high-voltage networks of Bishkek Electric Networks Enterprise, a branch of JSC ‘NESK’, will carry out major repairs of 26.7 kilometres and current repairs of more than 567 kilometres of overhead power lines.

In 2025, 3,695 old and damaged insulators will be replaced with new ones, angles will be welded and 50 anchor supports will be restored.

Also, to ensure the reliability of electricity supply, specialists will clear a 1.7-hectare route and will prune and cut down 2,75 thousand 75 crowns of trees under the power lines.
