Water supply to be cut off in parts of Bishkek tomorrow at 9 am

On 21 July 2026, from 09:00 to 18:00, the supply of drinking water to residential buildings, schools, nurseries, healthcare facilities and other social, domestic and industrial premises in the village of Maevka will be suspended.

The following streets will be affected by the cut: Skvortsova, Shattyk, Chuy-39, Tuleberdiyeva, Zaparova and Zhanylyk.

According to Bishkekvodokanal, the disruption is due to maintenance and repair work at the Omur Bulagy Elena water intake.

The company apologises for the temporary inconvenience and asks residents and organisations to stock up on drinking water in advance. Residents were also reminded that they can receive notifications about scheduled and emergency water cuts via the ‘My City’ app.
