    In Jalal-Abad, service training will be provided

    In Jalal-Abad, 25 unemployed people have been trained and successfully employed since the beginning of the year. This was reported by Elzada Mamasalieva, acting head of the Employment Department of the City Department of Labour, Social Security and Migration. 

    In 2024, 106 officially registered unemployed people in the region learnt new professions, among them 10 girls became seamstresses and 13 men became welders.

    The training is conducted in co-operation with Vocational Lyceum No. 75, where all conditions for training specialists have been created. The courses last three months, after which the trainees receive certificates and a scholarship. In addition to sewing and welding, programmes are offered in such areas as cook, hairdresser, car mechanic, carpenter and plumber. Participants range in age from 18 to 45.

    An important event for the city - Jalal-Abad has received the status of the tourist capital of Turkic states for 2025. In this regard, there are plans to train specialists in service and guide services. Currently, 256 unemployed people are registered in the city, and Vocational Lyceum No. 75 trains 535 students after the 9th grade in six specialities and provides short-term courses in ten areas.
