02/10/2026, 18:00There have been major personnel changes in Kyrgyzstan's security forces, with four high-ranking officials being dismissed from their posts.
Daniel Rysaliev has been dismissed from his position as deputy chairman of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS) and director of the SCNS Coordination Centre for Cyber Security.
Elizar Smanov has been dismissed from his position as deputy chairman of the SCNS.
Kurvanbek Avazov was dismissed from his position as first deputy chairman of the SCNS.
In addition, Rustam Mamasadykov was dismissed from his position as secretary of the Security Council of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Thus, the personnel decisions simultaneously affected the leadership of the SCNS and the Security Council. The reasons for the dismissals have not been officially announced.
