A fine was issued in the Kara-Sui district for breaches during road construction

During an inspection of the motorway construction works on Turdubekov Street in the Kara-Suy District of the Osh Region, breaches of construction legislation were identified; as a result, measures have been taken against the contractor in accordance with the legislation of Kyrgyzstan.

The inspection was carried out by the Osh Regional Office of the Department of State Architectural and Construction Control.

It was established that, during the laying of the asphalt concrete surface, drainage ditches located alongside an adjacent residential building were damaged. However, the asphalt concrete road surface was laid in accordance with the design specifications and current building regulations.

Following the inspection, a report was drawn up against the contractor, Volvo Logistic LLC, and an administrative fine of 200,000 KGS was imposed under the Code of the Kyrgyz Republic on Administrative Offences. Furthermore, the damaged drainage ditches have been fully repaired.
