06/11/2026, 17:15The Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, has arrived in Kyrgyzstan on his first official visit. He was met at Manas International Airport by the Head of the Cabinet, Adylbek Kasymaliev.
On 11 June, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze arrived in the Kyrgyz Republic at the invitation of President Sadyr Japarov.
At Manas International Airport, the distinguished guest was met by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic, Adylbek Kasymaliev. An official welcoming ceremony was also organised, featuring an honour guard and the display of the national flags of both countries.
It is noted that this is the first official visit by the head of the Georgian government to Kyrgyzstan since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two states.
The visit is taking place as part of efforts to strengthen political dialogue and develop bilateral cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Georgia.
Kyrgyzstan and Georgia have maintained diplomatic relations since 1992 and have been developing cooperation in the political, economic and cultural spheres.
