In Kyrgyzstan, 65% of the country's tax revenues come from Bishkek

The capital generates almost two-thirds of Kyrgyzstan's tax revenues. This was stated by the Prime Minister, Adylbek Kasymaliyev, at a meeting of the city council.

According to him, of the 304 billion KGS collected by the State Tax Service, 198.7 billion KGS come from Bishkek, which is about 65% of all revenues. The head of the Cabinet thanked the capital's entrepreneurs and taxpayers for their contribution to the state treasury.

At the same time, he separately emphasized that law enforcement and fiscal authorities should stop any unfounded inspections of businesses. According to Kasymaliyev, this issue is under special control.

Speaking about the capital's financial indicators, the head of the Cabinet noted a significant increase in the city's budget in recent years. While in 2021, Bishkek's budget was 10.7 billion KGS, in four years it has increased by more than 20 billion KGS.

In 2024, the city's actual revenues reached 37 billion KGS. At the end of 2025, revenues amounted to 30.6 billion KGS. Despite the decline compared to the previous year, the capital continues to play a key role in the country's economy.
