07/14/2026, 12:53As of 1 July, there are 8,450 job vacancies on the Kyrgyz labour market. Since the start of the year, more than 7,100 people have found work with the assistance of employment services.
According to the Ministry of Labour, 7,106 unemployed citizens have been placed in jobs since the start of 2026 with the assistance of regional employment services.
As of 1 July, employers had reported 16,106 vacancies to the employment services, predominantly in blue-collar roles. However, 8,450 jobs remain unfilled.
A total of 60,585 unemployed people and jobseekers were registered with the employment services. Of these, 37,886 people were officially registered as unemployed, whilst 34,317 were young people aged between 14 and 35.
To improve competitiveness in the labour market, 3,451 people were referred for vocational training, retraining and skills development. The most in-demand professions remain those of chef, seamstress, accountant with knowledge of the 1C programme, hairdresser, automotive electrician, electric and gas welder, plumber, beautician, massage therapist and designer.
In addition, 9,669 citizens took part in paid community work, whilst 77,551 people have sought advice on employment, training and labour legislation since the start of the year.
