Kyrgyzstan may combine KKM with electronic invoices

Kyrgyzstan is considering the possibility of combining cash register machines (CCMs) with the electronic invoice system (EIS).  This was reported in the State Tax Service.
The initiative is aimed at simplifying accounting and increasing the transparency of financial transactions.

One of the options, which are at the stage of discussion, assumes that when paying for goods and services via QR code the issuance of a paper cheque of the cash register may become optional. This will reduce the use of paper, simplify the settlement process and speed up customer service.

The decision is at the stage of being worked out and requires amendments to current legislation.
