02/06/2026, 16:31In 2025, construction of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway entered the stage of full-scale work along the entire length of the route. This is according to the annual report of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to the ministry, the creation of temporary construction infrastructure has been completed along the entire 192,323 km line. In particular, 11 main construction camps have been fully commissioned, temporary access roads have been built, and work on laying a temporary power line has been completed.
A key milestone was the start of underground work: all 29 tunnels along the route have entered the tunnelling stage. The project also includes the construction of 50 bridges. The railway is being built simultaneously along the entire length of the route.
