Vegetable prices in Kyrgyzstan have risen by almost 30% According to the latest data from the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, in February 2025, the vegetable price index rose by 28.9% compared to the previous year.

At the same time, it should be noted that the analysis shows that at the beginning of 2024, the price index was steadily declining, but in November it began to rise slightly.

Also, according to the National Statistics Committee, it can be seen that the total volume of imported vegetables has increased, with Kyrgyz citizens buying dried vegetables more often. It should be noted that in 2024, the country harvested 1 million 227.5 thousand tons of vegetables, which is 10.9 thousand tons (0.9%) more than in 2023. The average yield was 210.1 centners per hectare, an increase of 3.2 centners compared to the previous year.
