07/24/2025, 16:20On July 22, 2025, Kyrgyzstan recorded record electricity consumption for the summer period — 44 million 124 thousand kilowatt-hours. This is the highest figure in the history of observations and significantly exceeds last year's level: On July 22, 2024, the country consumed about 36 million kWh.
Experts attribute the increase in consumption to hot weather, an increase in the number of consumers, and the commissioning of new residential and industrial facilities. Despite the high loads, the power system continues to operate normally.
NESK OJSC stated that measures are being taken to ensure a reliable power supply and asked the population to use electricity responsibly, especially during peak hours.
