12/01/2025, 11:32The total volume of shares issued amounted to 707 billion 108.7 million KGS, which is almost a third more than in 2023. This is stated in the data of the National Statistics Committee.
The main part of the increase was provided by the creation of new joint-stock companies — 325 billion 835.2 million KGS, while the remaining 381 billion 273.5 million KGS came from an increase in the number of shares of existing companies.
Share placement also increased, with investors purchasing securities worth 760 billion 62.9 million KGS, including 645 billion 296.2 million KGS through closed subscriptions and 114 billion 766.7 million KGS through open subscriptions. Foreign investors purchased shares worth 61 billion 68.4 million KGS, mainly from countries outside the CIS.
Total proceeds from the placement of shares reached a record 1 trillion 146 billion 816.3 million KGS. This reflects the increased interest of companies in raising capital and the gradual revival of the Kyrgyz stock market.
