07/14/2026, 11:33The Ministry of Culture plans to launch a pilot project for a unified electronic ticketing system as early as September 2026. The system is scheduled to be fully implemented by December 2026. This was announced by the Minister of Culture, Mirbek Mambetaliyev.
According to him, the pilot launch will coincide with the VI World Nomad Games.
The new system will operate throughout Kyrgyzstan and bring together all state cultural institutions. It will be integrated with the state-run ‘Tunduk’ system, enabling tickets to be purchased online without having to visit ticket offices.
“Any citizen of our country will be able to buy a ticket for any concert, theatre performance, museum or library without leaving home. It will be possible to buy tickets for both parents and children,” the minister noted.
He emphasised that this digital solution will eliminate the need for intermediaries in ticket sales. Payments can be made via MBank or any other bank by scanning a QR code or clicking on a link.
According to the minister, another aim of the project is to reduce costs for cultural institutions. Currently, when using private ticketing services, the service fee amounts to 10–12 per cent of the ticket price. After switching to the state-run system, costs will be reduced to 1–3 per cent, including bank charges.
