02/28/2025, 15:44In January 2025 in the country built and commissioned 571 individual residential houses, their total area was 76.3 thousand square metres. This is almost as much as it was in January last year (99.3% of the level of 2024).
KGS 2.1 billion was invested in the construction of individual housing, which is 1.1% more than a year earlier. However, the share of these investments in the total volume of construction investments decreased from 61.3 per cent to 44.8 per cent.
Most new private houses appeared in Jalal-Abad, Chui, Osh oblasts and Bishkek - these regions accounted for 76% of all housing built.
In rural areas, 43.3 thousand square metres of housing were built, which is 56.8% of the total.
