Kyrgyzstan launches AIS Insurance for online registration of motor third-party liability insurance policies

The State Agency “Kyzmat” under the Presidential Administration and the National Insurance Company have implemented an automated information system (AIS) called “Insurance.” The project aims to digitize and increase the transparency of insurance services in the country.

The State Agency “Kyzmat” developed the back office of the system, while the front office was implemented in the ‘Tunduk’ application by OJSC “Tunduk.” The insurance policy database is hosted on the state platform G-CLOUD, which ensures reliable storage and centralized access to information.

Key features include:

• electronic insurance policies in digital format,
• online registration of compulsory motor third-party liability insurance, including the addition of up to four drivers to a single policy,
• enhanced control and accounting of insurance at the state level.

At present, it is already possible to register compulsory motor third-party liability insurance from the State Insurance Organization and ZAO NSK through the Tunduk app. ZAO Sakbol will be connected in the near future. In addition, there are plans to transfer other insurance services to an online format.

The authorities note that the launch of the AIS Insurance is an important step in the digital transformation of the insurance industry in Kyrgyzstan, which will make services more convenient, safer, and more accessible to citizens.
