A modern congress hall in the national style is being built at the ‘Manas Ordo’ complex

Construction is continuing on a new congress hall at the ‘Manas Ordo’ historical and cultural complex, which will serve as a venue for official events, academic conferences, cultural events, forums and international meetings.

The main aim of the project is to transform the Manas Ordo complex into an international centre that promotes Kyrgyz culture and the ‘Manas’ epic through academic collaboration and international events.

The conference hall will be a multi-purpose space. In addition to official and academic events, it will be able to host author talks, exhibitions and official receptions.

Particular attention has been paid to the building’s architectural design. The interior is modelled on a Kyrgyz yurt, combining modern architectural solutions with national traditions. At present, builders are carrying out interior finishing works, as well as decorating the high dome, which symbolises the tunduk – the sacred upper part of the Kyrgyz yurt, considered one of the country’s main national symbols.

The congress hall is expected to become a unique example of a harmonious blend of modern architecture and Kyrgyzstan’s cultural heritage.
