One of the village streets was never connected to the power grid, so villagers were forced to pull wires themselves and connect to neighbouring lines, putting their safety at risk.
Numerous appeals to the aiyl okmotu and the power grid were unsuccessful until the residents turned to Ombudsman Jamila Jamanbaeva. After her intervention, the authorities finally took action: 20 electricity poles and two transformers were installed in the village, and now all houses are connected to the power supply.
The head of the aiyl okmotu received disciplinary action for inaction. Road repairs have now begun in Boze.
