A modern recreation park is being built in Osh on an area of 2.6 hectares

In Osh, on Isanov Street, a modern recreation park is being built on an area of 2.6 hectares. This was reported by the city mayor's office.

Mayor Jenisbek Toktorbaev inspected the construction progress and instructed the relevant services to complete the work on schedule.

The mayor stressed the need to use abandoned and unused land within the city limits for public purposes, as well as to increase the number of green areas and recreation areas for city residents.

He also instructed that the areas of the water protection zone of the Zhekelik (Yakkalik) River occupied by private individuals be vacated and the fences moved 10 metres away from the shore.

As part of the project, a three-storey car park with space for 156 cars, a mini-football pitch, a café for visitors, a decorative arch at the main entrance and toilets will be built in the new square.

Irrigation systems are currently being installed in the park and paving stones are being laid on the footpaths.
