In Osh, roads, pavements and building façades are being renovated simultaneously

In Osh, work has begun on the construction of modern pavements on both sides of Alymbek Datka Street, with a total length of 3.45 kilometres, with the aim of improving infrastructure, creating a comfortable environment for pedestrians and enhancing road safety.

The total width of the pavement will be 3 metres: 2 metres are allocated for pedestrians and 1 metre for a cycle lane. The project also includes landscaping and greening of the area in accordance with modern standards.

Furthermore, this year the road section from the central square to Alisher Navoi Street (2.6 kilometres) will also undergo a complete overhaul.

The city council also notes that the municipal housing and utilities enterprise of the Osh City Council plans to renovate the façades of 70 apartment blocks within the city in 2026. The facades of 10 apartment blocks have already been whitewashed and painted, and work is proceeding according to the approved schedule. By the end of the year, it is planned to renovate the facades of a further 50–60 buildings.
