09/17/2025, 08:25As of 11 September, within the framework of the Agriculture Financing Project (AFP-13) implemented by the Ministry of Finance, agricultural producers in the country were provided with preferential loans totalling 4 billion 30.92 million KGS.
The bulk of the loans went to the livestock sector, with 5,374 entities receiving 3.33 billion KGS. A total of 441.02 million KGS was allocated to crop production (898 entities).
In addition, 24 farms received support worth 17 million KGS as part of the introduction of water-saving technologies. 241.56 million KGS were allocated to 122 entities for leasing projects.
All regions of Kyrgyzstan received loans. However, the regional distribution of project funds cannot be called uniform. Thus:
A total of 6,418 loans worth over 4 billion soms were issued across the country.
