In the Sokuluk district, they explained how drones are used in agriculture

In the village of Frunze in the Sokuluk district, autumn field work began at the Sokuluk State Agricultural Enterprise with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister Bakyt Torobaev.

The event featured methods of no-till farming, technologies for preserving soil moisture, the use of artificial intelligence-controlled drones, as well as new seed varieties and biological methods.

In his speech, Minister Bakyt Torobaev emphasised the importance of obtaining a second harvest. Obtaining a second harvest is the process of sowing or planting with the aim of harvesting two or more times a year. This method is particularly applicable in areas with favourable climatic conditions, sufficient water supply and a high level of agricultural technology.

Obtaining a second harvest has several important advantages. First, it allows two or more harvests to be gathered from the same plot of land during the year, which increases agricultural production. Second, it brings additional income to the farmer and allows the land to be used as efficiently as possible, without leaving it idle. Thirdly, an additional harvest increases the farmer's income and creates conditions for increasing the volume of agricultural exports at the national level.

In addition, it becomes possible to grow different crops. For example, wheat in the spring, corn for silage or vegetables and fruits in the summer.
