Strategic facilities returned to state ownership in Talas

As a result of operational search measures carried out by the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic, it was established that in 2003, the head of the public association “Toboy” “S.T.D.” in collusion with officials of the Talas branch of the State Agency ‘Cadastre’ and the State Agency “Talas Main Water Management Department” illegally privatized facilities that provide essential services to the population.

Thus, in 2003, the head of the public association “Toboy” “S.T.D.” used the official position of state officials and committed official forgery to illegally transfer strategic facilities of category “B” (water intakes) to the balance sheet of the said public association, which he subsequently transferred to private ownership, along with land plots measuring 1.7 hectares 0.68 hectares, and 1 hectare with existing infrastructure, worth 36 million 415 thousand 400 KGS.

As a result of the investigative measures, the life support facilities were returned to state ownership.
