06/13/2026, 16:32Construction is underway in the town of Tokmok, Chui Region, on a new stadium with a capacity of 3,000 spectators.
The progress of the project was inspected by Nurdán Oruntaev, Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Kyrgyz Republic, as part of a working visit to the region.
During his visit to the site, the minister assessed the pace of construction, paying particular attention to the quality of the work being carried out and adherence to the agreed deadlines.
Following the inspection, relevant instructions were issued to the responsible departments.
The stadium is being built on the grounds of School No. 8. The project envisages the creation of modern sports infrastructure, including spectator stands, changing rooms and shower facilities, a medical centre, a media centre and other necessary facilities.
It is expected that, once construction is complete, the new facility will become an important part of the Chui Region’s sports infrastructure, creating additional opportunities for sporting activities, competitions and public events.
