Construction has begun on a modern center for children with disabilities in Toktogul.

On November 29, Minister of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Utilities Nurdan Oruntaev inspected a number of facilities in the Toktogul district of the Jalal-Abad region, including a new rehabilitation center on Momunkulov Street. The total area of the building will be 1,746.95 square meters.

The center is being built on the instructions of the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Chairman of the State Committee for National Security Kamchybek Tashiev. The building will have three floors and a basement. The first floor will house a reception area, a room for meetings with parents, a treatment room, staff rooms, and a dining room.

The second and third floors will have wards, separate sanitary and bathroom facilities for boys and girls, treatment rooms, and linen storage rooms. The center will meet modern accessibility standards and will be equipped with all necessary ramps.

The construction work is being carried out by the Kyrgyzkurulush company, which is subordinate to the ministry. The new center will create comfortable conditions for children with disabilities and improve the quality of rehabilitation services in the region.
