10/20/2024, 11:08The Mayor's Office appeals to citizens to use cards to pay for bus fares, which will allow cashless payments at a reduced price of 17 KGS.
The Municipality explains that, for the moment, the cash payment of 20 KGS does not fully reach the bus fleet accounts. If this situation continues, in 4-5 years new buses will be out of service, as has happened before. The problem is that without spare parts being delivered in time, repair work cannot be done. There are 1,500 buses in the capital, which were purchased at the citizens' expense.
"They should serve you for at least 15-20 years. For frequent travellers to our city, we also recommend buying a card. Your funds will remain safe and be deducted only for the actual fare,’ the message says.
